On June 27, 2020, he was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Mark Brennan, D.D., at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph in Wheeling.

Following his ordination, Father Golna was sent to complete his studies for the J.C.L. at the Pontifical Gregorian University.
